Amel Durakovic
Postdoc
DTU Physics

Amel Durakovic started his postdoc at PPFE on 1 November 2018 joining from the Niels Bohr Institute where he recently got his PhD in cosmology.

His work has been on the likely structure and origin of the primordial fluctuations that seeded the large scale structure of the universe and led to temperature fluctuations of the cosmic microwave background radiation. His focus is on reconstruction techniques and statistical analysis.

At PPFE he will be working on the CTS diagnostic of ITER and ASDEX Upgrade where he will study the multistage process of reconstructing the distribution of fast ions from scattered microwave radiation.
