Quantum Sensing

 

 

Employing engineered quantum systems, we implement strategies that deliver unprecedented sensitivity and precision in metrological or sensing applications. We aim at developing 1) ultra-sensitive micron-scaled optical interferometers and cavities using squeezed and entangled states of light and 2) nano- and micron-scaled magnetometers based either on Nitrogen-Vacancy centers in diamond or on superconducting electronics.
