Associate Professor Claus Helix Nielsen joins Nobel Laureates in Stockholm.

On March 24 2009, the Swedish Association of Scientists, together with the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research and the  of Sciences, is organising its second Stockholm Meeting conference entitled: 'from Nobel Prize® to commercial use and improved daily life'.

The panel consists of seven prominent scientists including two Nobel Laureates (Peter Agre and Albert Fert) as well as Associate Professor Claus Helix Nielsen from the Department of Physics at DTU. See the names of the panelists here (in Swedish).

The aim of the conference is to clarify just how important science is in today's society and for Sweden's continued development. With the starting point of lectures by Nobel Laureates, the idea is to embark on a journey from research to benefit for society. The hope is that this new exciting high-quality forum will continue to promote dialogue and the exchange of experiences between new and established researchers, as well as between researchers, politicians and trade and industry.  More information on the meeting here.
