As a postdoc or 3rd year PhD student you are invited to join a workshop on December 14, where we put the spotlight on postdoc-oriented grants and grant writing.
When: December 14 at 13.00.
We will give some general guidance (a tutorial) on how to create a strong proposal. There will be short talks with examples from typical postdoc-relevant grants: Innovation fund, Villum Experiment, DFF 1 and so on. There will also be a session where experienced reviewers share their insights on the process, and what in their experience leads to a proposal being accepted or rejected. Finally, we will do a Q&A session where you can ask all the questions you want to a selected panel of experts.
We hope also to support networking, as there is a lot to gain from helping each other out with feedback, peer-review, screening and so on. Many postdocs feel a bit alone with the complex process; teaming up is a great way for everyone to up their chances and learn at the same time.
There will also be coffee and eventually gløgg, the danish variant of the famous german gluhwein, which is unavoidable around Christmas time in Denmark.
