On August 18, Maxime defended his PhD thesis entitled “Photophysics of Germanium Vacancy centers in Diamond” within the bigQ project supported by the Danish National Research Foundation. Within the last three years, Maxime has explored the photo-physics of GeV centers in diamond and has been able to detect the presence of non-classical of the emitted photons using new types of measures for non-classicality. The thesis was examined by Tim Schroder from the Humboldt University in Berlin, Elke Neu from University of Kaiserslautern and Nicolas Stenger from DTU Electro. Many congrats to Max!
