Congratulations to Andreas

Andreas successfully defended his PhD project with the title “Highly sensitive quantum magnetometryusing nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamond” on February 10, that was part of the bioQ program supported by the Novo Nordisk foundation. The examiners were Nir Bar-Gill from Hebrew University Jerusalem, Radim Filip from Palacky University in Olomouc and Jonatan Bohr Brask from DTU. Andreas designed optimal control pulses, studied the performance of quantum sensing schemes in the low kHz frequency range, and proposed a realistic concept for laser threshold magnetometry. Warm congratulations, Andreas, and thank you for your nice work!
