Congratulations Anders!

Anders has recently achieved an important milestone in the field of quantum information science by successfully defending his PhD thesis, “Overcoming the Limitations of Direct Transmission of Continuous-Variable Quantum Information,” on December 20. This research, generously funded by the Danish National Research Foundation, has made notable contributions in advancing long-distance quantum communication and fault-tolerant quantum computing. The thesis presents innovative proposals for enhancing quantum communication through the violation of Bell inequalities and introduces new methods for generating GKP states, which are crucial for fault-tolerant quantum computing. Anders's thesis was rigorously evaluated by a panel comprising Prof. Marcos Curty, Prof. Cosmo Lupo, and Prof. Alexander Huck. Our heartfelt congratulations to Anders on this achievement!
